Maya 44 isnt worth 99 dollars imo, but yeah, for people without a soundcard or traktor, the vcm is a pretty good deal from the get go.

229 + 79 + 199 + tax if applicable is the only math that matters

is the vcm-100 upgradeable to arcade buttons?

Nice, good deal for a compact all in one

ITS MATHS with an S.
MATH doesnt make sense. You dont say MATHEMATIC, in this context its MATHEMATICS.
Do the mathematics = Do the maths..!

Oops sorry Karlos!

People spell my name ‘Collie’ all the time, drives me nuts!

LOL… it happens all the time doesnt it.

I played with FOAMO last week and they got my name wrong on the flyer.
What can you do but suck it up. I did tell the promoter politely that next time it would be nice if he spelled my name correctly. He was cool about it.

Such is life eh mate.

Anyway back on topic

I love my VCI-100SE but this VCM-100 is a great little unit for the price. The only thing is no jog wheels or budget buttons, and zero effects. Yes you could add a kontrol x1 but its totally the wrong shape, would be good to have another midi controller as an add on like the one for the VCI-300 - the VFX-1

would work quite nicely with two EKS XP5’s I’d imagine?

would that not be total overkill? I’m thinking just a midi controller to control the things like effects etc that are missing on the VCM-100 that you would have on say the VCI-100 or the TR1 etc

I have the VCM-100 and am waiting on my kontrol X1 being delivered. It’s a great little controller. I don’t do any scratching so a jog wheel is not necessary. At the minute I have mapped it so I can control the FX, looping/loop-size, loading and browsing, a bit of cue-point juggling etc. It’s a little messy but will do until the X1 gets here. The good thing is, when the X1 arrives this will free up a fair few buttons on the VCM-100 for some advanced FX mappings!
