Video Capture for making performance video. Help?
Looking for some advice on what the best video capturing software is. I’m trying to make some cool DJ videos and would like to include my screen. I tried Camstasia but it cause my DJ software to have major latency and so that’s not working. What do you guys use/recomend?

Well both of those work on Mac and PC so tell us what OS you have and we can get you going the right direction.
I have 2 laptops I’m trying to get this working on. Windows XP SP3 on both. One has a Celron and the other has a AMD Turion 64x2. Both CPUs are around 1.6GHz. There’s about 150 gig freed up in hard drive space on each. My settings are set for optimal performance not for cool looks. Not sure what else to say bout’em.
Is it just cause I have crappy laptops? Is there anyway to get this to work on these machines?
Try CamStudio, it works fine for me.
