Video I shot of me mixing

I’ve got a little vacation time I need to burn so I’ve taken the last few days off. For me that equals sitting around being bored so this is what happens. Not sure anybody wants to really watch gentle EQ’ing and moderate FX usage that sometimes you can’t even tell I’m doing anything, but here ya go anyway. :wink: There’s a few screw up, but there’s always screw ups and the camera flips somewhere around 1/4 way through and I have to readjust.

Used the iWebcamera app to turn my iPhone into a web camera that works with Ustream.

Yeah, seems like there’s a buzz huh? Sound was running out of rec out on the mixer to the laptop in port.

EDIT: tracklist is the first half of my last show as I had everything from that show in one playlist easy to get to.

Do you have a track list? I’m only a couple mins in but already loving the selection.

If you are on a pc, I use the free version of BB Flashback to record the screen or just a part of it.
I’ll give the video a gander when I get home.

Thanks for the comments guys. I’m on a mac and haven’t really looked into any extra software to split the streams to be able to show the screen at the same time. I did think about shooting it with the good camera and doing a screen capture with quicktime at the same time. Then I could put edit them all together in Final Cut and zoom in and out on Traktor if I was doing something special.

This was pretty much the first half of my show last week since I already had all those tracks in a playlist. I think I skipped one or two tracks though. Plus It’ll sounded a little different as I was bored and playing a little more in the video. :wink:

Sold it and the Maschine to fund the mixer purchase. I’ve come to grips with the S4 being gone, but I miss the Maschine though.

I have the same mixer and I love it. I had an S4 too… it was stolen last weekend unfortunately :disappointed:

Killer App for Mac. Records your screen and camera, then you can play with both bits of footage. One playing and another smaller window within the first, showing the other camera’s footage.

You know, like you see in most of these vids.
