Visuals… live equaliser overlay

Does anyone have a suggestion for a live equaliser that can overlay on looped videos?

Currently, we have VLC running on a little Intel PC-on-a-stick, projected behind the stage. It’d be nice to have a live (ie affected by music) graphic equaliser running over the top.

But my personal favorite is The Rabbit Hole (that’s not available as standalone app so it requires some work)

Magic music visuals is a good fit for it. Out of the box it has a few examples for what you are looking for.
