**Volume Fader Issues - VCI100-SE _I HAVE A GIG SOON_**

Hey guys, my left volume fader on my VCI-100SE is giving me some problems.

As I’m sliding it up the values continue to rise normally but when I get to the top it freaks out and jumps around down to 60% or 70% volume, but if I slide it barely to the top it’ll sit around 99%.

I’ve seen another topic with this issue and the answer given was they tried to remap it. And that’s something I haven’t tried doing. Does anyone have any fixes I can try?

I have my first gig on October 28th and this is freaking me out!

try putting some compressed air through the fader slots if you’ve gone a while w/o cleaning it

Your faders need to be cleaned, scroll down to post 6 in that thread and there’s a link to the article.

It’s 10 days away. I’d open it up now and clean it, just follow the instructions and be careful, you’ll be fine.
