I think we can all agree that there is no way that their could be a legitimate winner. This isnt like voting for a fucking president. its not like we can go read their dj platforms, or read the factory specs on their average crossfade stroke. hahahaha.
Seen 4 off this list in the past year. Dieselboy, Monk (Plays a VJ set locally every Friday), Tommie Sunshine, and AC Slater from Trouble & Bass. Dieselboy was at Planet of the Drums, so he had 2 other djs and they were swapping so fast it was hard to tell who was doing what. Monk is a pretty sick VJ but of course I am a little numb to him since he is readily available. Tommie Sunshine played a mad mad fidget house set that I dug, but half the crowd was oblivious to it, and AC Slater I saw on the Scion tour and while he was great, Le Castle Vania absolutely killed it that night. So all that being said, I’m voting for Craze, because off that list he is who I would be the most excited about seeing.
ummm Pauly D? Somebody got paid paid under the table like an Obama appointee for that tools entry. I didn’t know Baby Anne had a wandering eye either. She’s still a cutie
Leaning towards Tenaglia right now though cause he rocked us real good in Miami. didn’t expect to see Faust and Shortee up there.
Damn too many styles and skill sets to really make up my mind
Jazzy Jeff would get my vote, admitteldy you have a few other old school guys there too who i have seen a ministry years gone by, but the rest i barely know, and as someone already stated they don’t mention Derrick May,Juan Atkins or Kevin Saunderson..
Hehe I hear you. To be honest, I saw him once and was so mad at myself for enjoying it! He throws a good party, that’s for sure. I just love the “Paris Hilton DJ” nickname.
Like it was said, Major Lazer is a collab between diplo and switch. I threw in the the (major lazer) because I saw him dj, it just happened to be in a group under the moniker name Major lazer. It was a great show. SO MUCH DAGGERING. lol.
Hey I even pointed Karl Detken of Pioneer to JesC, being one of the first iPad DJs and all.
But, tbh, I was opting for either Jeff Mills, being one of the first guys to be a techno dj that made use of an 808 next to decks or making it more mainstream, Mix Master Mike and DJ Shadow.
