Want to use iPad with Kontrol S2 (Older model) possible?

I have an iPad with Maschine loaded on it and a Kontrol S2. I would like to use the iPad for one-shots, etc. What do I need in order to bridge the 2 together.

I know the new Kontrol S2 has this capability, but is there a way to get the older one to work? Do I use the new Audio 1 as a sound card into a mixing board as another input?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You need an additional mixer to join the outputs of your Ipad and S2. The S2 must be used with a laptop since it is not compatible with the Ipad.

I’m wondering if there is a way to use the Traktor Audio 2 Mk2 (or other ipad compliant soundcard) with the old s2/s4 and the ipad?
