Wanted: Serato Rane SL4

No BS- at my gig sat/sun a girl spilled her alcohol in the booth and fried my SL4!

I’m in need of a new/ used one at a reasonable price.

I have $500 left in my account til monday. I got an online retailer lined up for 800 but that extra scratch is going to kill me with the holiday and gifts.

Not a scammer and have cash, PP, WU …

I’m in the USA east coast.

Just send your SL-4 in under warranty. Rane is pretty leniant as to what they cover.

Yeah< i thought so too. But In a rage, I walked the person to the ATM after my set and got the girl to pull the max amount out $500. Walked them back upstairs and handed them the SL4. You could smell the burnt electronics coming from the box. I figured it would be an easy thing to come by on craigslist.

I had it apart in pieces with my Leatherman, during the last hour of my set. One of the dancers even loaned me her hairdryer… All to no avail

i cal look locally, i know a couple cats selling sl-2 & sl-3’s

I appreciate it, I was using TheBridge / Ableton and the Input … I feel SL4 is a must at this point. My goal is when the next version of the CDJ-2000’s are released, to pickup another pair for a total of 4

really just trying to get back where I was.

Good luck finding a new sl4 man. Have you tryed your local guitarcenter (they might have a used one)?

My booth has a narrow 1 way in n out… There wasn’t an option for escape. Good thing I’m versatile. I grabbed the CD’s and went at it as I got Traktor 100 up n running

Have you thought of going for a Rane 68? I’m pretty sure you could find some sort of a deal if you wanted to switch the DJM-2000 for the 68, or some such thing. Not sure if that’s an option, but just a thought.

But yeah, best of luck. I’m glad they helped pay for it, but shit, that’s a terrible situation to be in.

I like my current gear, Might get a 68 or similar as a backup or for another application, but I just wanted to get back to what I was usto and what worked for me.
