DJTT tutorial on how to use the crossfader on my VCI-100?? I just don’t understand, I’m playing a track on the left deck, but when I move the crossfader to the right everything goes quiet! The track is still playing in the left deck (I think that’s what the moving wiggly lines are) but I don’t get any sound out of my speakers :disappointed:

Please help!

P.S. The same thing happens when I move the left hand line fader down, is this normal??

hm…not nice. he had a real question even if it was not the smartest in your eyes but hey still a question

Cause some ppl new to traktor like myself dont quit get it…

thanks!

No real need for a video since it’s just a slider. Set it at around 8 and if your CPU meter is getting in the red in Traktor or you get bad sound raise it to 11. Mine’s set at 8 and everything works fine. I think we have pretty close to the same setup computer wise so that’s why I suggested starting at 8.

read the manual or search for latency here or on da interwebz

ok, are you talking about gain??? or latency?? I have it set to -8 as you suggested but its still not quit right (but does sound better)

just go to your preferences in traktor wich is on the right top next to the magnifying glass…a window will pop and there it is on the right side in the window…

I’m talking about latency. If it doesn’t sound quite right at go to 11.

ooops…2 late…

Yeh sorry OP that was a bit mean. Shit day at work yesterday, i take it back.

Are you baiting us for some kinda Spinal Tap comment?

To OP, as a courtesy please let us know if you get it sorted and how you did it so future people can use search effectively.

Not to go too much off topic, but if you are interested in running ASIO4ALL I noticed a significant drop in latency settings…went from a mind boggling 35ms to 5ms.
