web camera reccomendations
looking for something to do with overheads that’ll work good with my MBP.
i picked up a Logitech HD Pro C910 from best buy the other day, i have it mounted on my camera tripod and it works quite nicely. my computer cant handle streaming or recording in HD while mixing but it looks great when i try it.
The original isight was a superb Web Camera with “Proper” autofocus and Aperture for around $50 S/H these days.
Other than that perhaps you’d pick up an old DV camera with firewire the quality Should/Will kick the ass of most of the webcams out there.
Oh you could also see if your digital cam has webcam drivers 
That’s what I want tod do and out of 5 cameras ranging in price from $50 to $5000 none of them do that I can find.
I did find an app for my iPhone that sends it’s camera stream to ustream so I’ll test it out today.

Another option could be a usb capture card and “dome” security camera if you want to mount it on a wall permanently (nightvision too) … you could pick one up from china for about 20quids + around the same for the capture card.
