Figured I would throw it out there to see what everyone’s favorite new tracks are…any hot new gems out there?

Actually Pezzner’s new EP is brilliant in the EDM world, but I have also purchased albums by the following artists lately,
Imelda May her version of Tainted Love is fucking brilliant done in a Rockabilly Style
The Jim Jones Revue - their latest album kicks butt as well it’s as rock an roll as you can get with a brilliant boogie woogie keyboard player!
Janelle Monae - her new album is amazing she has a seriously brilliant voice on the first track BaBopBye Ya..
and my other purchases have been KT Tunstall’s latest album which is good but im not sure it’s as good as her previous works
and my fave at the moment is Ray LaMontage & The Pariah Dogs - God Willin & the Creeks Don’t rise, they class it as folk but it’s got elements of blues soul country all in all is brilliant..
I have some seriously across the board tastes in music lol..
Going to check that out.

I like that. I had the idea yesterday that if there was a song that didn’t really fit into one genre I would tack Indie onto the end of the genre that it might be closest to. So if you were to call this House Indie it would still show up in a genre sort with the other House music, but it would be distinguishable from the other stuff. I haven’t started to implement it yet so I’m not real sure how it would work, but it sounds good…I think.
