What do we want to see new in Traktor

This thread is just for people to put down features they would like to see come to traktor. You can also put down things you would like to see improved

id like to see

  1. Video support
  2. High res midi
  3. Send midi values to a device
  4. an option of vertical waveforms running side by side
  5. an improved way at organising songs and playlists

they are my ideas what do you all think should be added to this program

A feature which points out six page threads on the same subject within the first two pages of a forum.

[u]Traktor Feature Wishlist

hehe

Probably best posted on the NI Traktor Feature Request forum anyway tbh

ah what the hell one more time:

colored waveforms and flexible beat grids. With this I could do without stacked waveforrms and the GUI would not have to be completely re-done.

Nah… Do it here.

Saves me job sorting out all the arguing over there!!!

anarchy in the uk!

And also everything in this thread has already been requested anyway

LOLz

I’d like to see me in jessica alba.. oh wait what we talkin about?

customisable deck filters, effect sends for external units whilst in internal mode, customisable deck copy, being able to blend freeze or hold fx with effected track.flexible grids

Traktor API, properly documented.

that’s it.

I would like to see something articulated with maybe a central pivot. Electric drive would be nice…oh sorry, wrong tractor.

I’ll be honest. Having been living with complete indecision built upon complete lack of money for equipment…

I’d love to see traktor with colored waveforms, and something visually to aid mixing of the sort of the waveforms being next to each other for aid with beatmatching.

It’s simple thing, probably the only selling point to me of Serato. But it’s big, considering it’s a huge help/crutch while learning to manually beatmatch by ear.

i have a laundry list of requests, but the top of the pile is this:

i’d like to see the next traktor bring back some of the functionality from traktor3 that it scrapped in traktorpro because they were trying to make it more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing (or whatever the reasons, i’m not sure).
personally i’ve never found traktor3 to be that complicated to the extent that it needed to be dumbed down for users, or the GUI too cluttered that it had to be cleaned up.

when i have some time i’m going to do some side by side comparisons between traktorpro and traktor3 so i can properly assess what is missing in pro that i prefer in 3.
