What do you think of our new Logo?
the dj tech tools team has been hard at work. what do you think of this new logo idea? the colors are not final. 
I like the design, but I might go for more subtle colors, myself.
I like it, except for the connecting T’s. When designing, it’s all about positive and negative space. With the T’s connecting, it makes the logo appear unbalanced and saturated w/ too much yellow.
maybe you should have a contest to see who comes up with the best logo! winner gets…lets say …a …EG edition vci =)

The first thing that came to mind for me was “RETRO”
I think the colors and tiles aren’t really doing it.
I think a more chromed up/sleek “futuristic” look would be fitting since we’re dealing with pretty much on the edge technology here at Dj Tech Tools (just my opinion).
But hey, whatever the logo turns out to be, I’m just stoked the forum is up & running!

Hmmmm not a huge fan, rBobz28 was right, too much yellow and makes the spacing unbalanced.
I like the idea of having a competition to design the logo, with a prize!!!
it would be a really great way of keeping this good community involved!
It looks like the old Denver Nuggets logo.. I actually like it.. maybe it should be made with more, smaller tiles and and some neon colors with a broader fade range of colors.
I dont like the logo that much but perhaps giving it an idea of conflict like digital vs analog.
Ha, fuck it, retro it up man. Personally I’m working on tricking out a VW to play controllerism gigs out the back of it and settin up the bitjockey equivalent of Woodstock. Groovy.

Its pretty cool - def’ better then old logo. I agree with the positive negative space comments also the colours. I personally think the whole retro thing could be done better a.la So Me and DVNO vid. If you want the whole professional feel I think it could be done better, not to rag on it or anything, but being a designer I don’t like giving useles feedback.

You should hold off on this until your plate design for the VCI SE competition has finished. There may be some ideas come forward from that which can be made in to your logo design.
I would have said that perhaps the other way round is better? The logo design spawning some ideas for the plates? Just an Idea.

depending on what wins, i’d be interested in a dj tech tools tee-shirt.
i know a lot of others here would, too.
perhaps, there could be another design contest to add style to a DjTT shirt.

Nice idea. I wouldn’t mind designing up some sweet DJTT T-Shirts. If people like them once I have I can either send people the files & they get them made up or I I can make them up and ship them over (@ co$t).
