I think it’s a kind of Deep House, but not a regular one

Id agree it borders on progressive. Its hard to label tracks with a single genre sometimes - it become restrictive more than helpful.

I don’t even know what future house is. Had to google it. Apparently someone named “Tchami” coined the term when describing his own music on soundcloud in 2013. Now I have to google who “Tchami” is…sheesh…
I personally discovered this genre by Don Diablo, I don’t know who’s Tchami though 
Same, but Joris produces nowhere near EDM/future sounds. He tends to do techy, melodic techno.

the definition of deep house got polluted by the hipsters that thought everything was deep house. Deep house for me spans from Naked Music to people like Gorge or Solumun.
totally agree with you. I have a few of his older tracks. Seeing as how I don’t have a “melodic techno” folder he gets filed into progressive house (the old definition of progressive house)
