Sandstorm
Anything by Fake Blood. And I am serious
He’s playing in S.F along with Steve Aoki and others…Who’s going?
Thriller obviously and The Phantom of the Opera theme, I need some better ideas though.
Vicious D - Flesh Eater - TitanZERO & Adroit Remix
HUUUUUUGE amount of bass on that one.
Also probably Haunted, Hellness, Retribution (Audio Remix), and Hellness by Technical Itch.
I was gonna play Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division. Older track but it has a great halloween mood. Good for earlier in the night before getting to the beats.
Cheap Thrills by Herve. It’s a Thriller remix! ![]()
not doing one. but for christmas/ december im using a grinch sample
noise noise noise!
Nosferatune by Pleasurekraft has a real halloween feel.
Zombies on the Dancefloor! by DJ Scotty and like ten other people…idk…too lazy to open iTunes.
I find Wolfgang Gartners new track “IllAmerica” has a pretty good halloween feel.
oooh abyrne im gunna drop some wolfgang stuff to always good
specially halloween undertaker! orsom track and some of the new skrillex stuff should be good
kill everybody has got a nice spooky vibe
I start with “Phenomena” by Goblin and end with Bobby “Boris” Pickett’s "Monster Mash. Somewhere in the middle I play Zombie Zombie’s version of the Halloween theme. And at one point I will stop for the “Werewolf Break”. (I don’t know how many of you know the movie “The Beast Must Die”.
Yeah, Goblin are the ultimate heroes of horror film music, I plan on playing “Tenebre” in the halloween mix I want to record. And thanks for that Zombie Zombie tip, must have missed that EP - but not no more ![]()
Oh, and I’ll probably edit a couple of horror samples in almost all the tracks I’m gonna play. You know, squeeking doors, screaming women, a couple vocal samples from horror movies (have to look through a couple of those movies by Argento or Fulci for quotes, but that should be doable).
At a Zombie prom last weekend, those Harry Belafonte tracks from the Beetlejuice soundtrack went over huge: Day-O (the banana song) and Jump in the Line. Also a track by Belafonte called “Zombie Jamboree”
Liberal use of “Here’s Johnny” sample from the Shining.
oh a good one: smf- hahaha
Not DJing but if I was I’d have to throw in the Monster Mash, Thriller and the Ghostbusters theme for sure.
