What To Do? Lemur Or Macbook Pro 15"
Im stuck in between getting a Jazzmutant Lemur V2 or a MBP 15" w/4 GB Ram & 320 GB HD.
I have the cash to kill, What Would Jesus DO?
thing is that I love about the Lemur is that you can create your custom layout, but I also love the power of the MBP.
BTW if I get the lemur, im gonna end up selling my mod’ed vci & the black nano pad. No need in having 2 vci’s

well whats your current laptop? overall i am not so impressed with the last 15" update. then again i have a hard time thinking rational about that glossy display. maybe because i dont look good enough so that i dont want to see myself in the mirror all day.
I have a black macbook 2 ghz 2 gig ram 320 gb hd, I dont have any complaints about it.

LOL…man only if you knew me in real life. I have to work my ass off for anything that I want. My parents are pretty well off, but im 28 yrs old, its not like im gonna goto my dad and say, hey I need 2k to buy a new mbp or the lemur.
When I was 12, I told my pops, “I want some Technics 1200’s” He said how much are they? I said about $800.00. The man got me a job for spring break and covered the difference so I could get them.

Fuck the new MBP’s. They killed the FW400 and only come in glossy. Fail.
Tru Chilly, I love the fw400 but I dont mind the glossy screen.

MBP for me. But my upgrade was a lot more substantial than yours.
Yeah if your not having any problems with your current MBP id go the lemur. That said i dont think multitouch laptops are really that far away - id almost be tempted to save up for one of those over time and kill 2 birds with the 1 stone.
I would wait on the MBP and def get the mutant primate.
I think solid state hardrives may prove to be promising, and there may be more options at that time.
Meanwhile, your little pet will have followed right along with easy firmware updates that keep it well nourished and ready to play at any moment.

i should have a new toy within 2 or 3 weeks.
I hope your not thinking that a touchscreen can replace actual psysical faders, knobs, jog wheels n stuff 
I see them as an accessory to existing gear personally.
Ill still have my VCI-SE, but after seeing the multi-touch & the ablity to create your own layout I was sold.
