What would u do IF you had 5k
question what would u do investment wise in music promotional or equipment wise with about 5 to 10 k to further your career & make more money
I personally would spend it on lessons/school. equipment wise, cdjs x djm or technics x djm w/serato, promotional wise, go pro on soundcloud haha
That depends on who you are, what you want to do and how far you already are.
Buy index fund 5k worth of top 100 company shares
Look at them again in 40 years
I don’t own a PA system so I would buy that. I would also buy a set of CDJs. Get my 1200s properly serviced or buy newer ones. A proper 4-6 channel mixer. 5K wouldn’t go far. Maybe a Laptop if there is anything left over. Bigger sound card.

Anything left over would go to website and art asset creation, New music, Streaming and hosting service fees, and a mac book air.. I am so near being able to do this for a living that it’s beginning to feel painful..

Deck out a shed at the bottom of the Garden and turn it into a DJ Den. A does everything Desk for All my existing kit with the addition of a Beer Fridge, a Shelf for some vinyl (I’d have a good time with a few hundred!) a old sofa thats really squishy. Oh, and Fairy lights!
