What’s in YOUR sample decks?

What do you guys drop into your sample decks? Live recorded song bits? Vocal samples? Drum loops for fluency between songs? Explosion noises? White noise for scratching? Share your samples secrets!

Airhorn.

they’re mainly full of CHARLIE SHEEN..
i tend to grab stuff with the loop recorder and run it in the sample decks, to overlay with my main decks to help with transitions, etc.

I have 4 custom DJ Drops on C, and Yoshi (from mario games) wav samples on D. Yoshiiii!! Owowowow!

Would there be any kind DJ’s here to share some loops for in between mixing into songs!!!
Straight beats to fit in as crossover loops???

Yoshi loops! haha! Great lol
I often take loops/samples from the current playing tracks and get layering. Sometimes i have white noise, my own loops pre made, vocal stuff pre made etc, but i’m more of a layering kind of person.

not much at the mo, they seem to be more hassle that their worth haha imo

this.

yer i dont even use mine

actually what works great is to sample the same song maybe in a drop or even on a beat… play it with bass filtered and mess around with effect combinations/modulations I use delays, reverb and gater combines or alone…depending on the song of course

have fun!

Actuallllllyyyy, funny story. I’m teaching a friend how to DJ and I had some samples loaded up still in the sample decks. I’m outside the bar having a smoke when I hear ‘All I do is win’ I tossed my cigarette, ran up a flight of stairs, and jumped in the booth right when it says “Everybody’s hands go up!” right at the pause I smashed on the button and filled it with. “DUH…WINNING!” “And they stay there!!!” Everyone got a good laugh out of it. I’m sure it’s been done but for me it was purely out of chance and I enjoyed it way more than I should have.

On a more serious note, I keep beats to help with transitions and adding drums to songs that are slightly lacking (Country and Rock edits) then a few random fillers for fun.
