Digital Traktor Library: ~1700 Tracks.

Vinyl ~ 1,000 records 90% dance music. I regrettably sold a few hundred off 10 years a go or so.

The MP3s I use for DJing are still very focused (I’m new to it, and am still focusing on my primary genre before I branch out) - my Traktor library is about 250 tracks.

I’d say it’s about 12" x 12" x 18’

Discogs reliably informs me I have cataloged 1391 releases in my vinyl collection.
And
Traktor says I’ve got about 60 000 tracks in my collection but I’m sure there’s a lot of dupes in there.

Traktor-600 tracks and 14 vinyl records.

Vinyl - I just recently sold over 700 Drum n’ Bass records this past February.
I still have a little under 400 (House, Nuskool Breaks, DnB, Dubstep, and
Underground/Golden Era Hip-Hop) records left. I had also sold a few hundred
Drum n’ Bass records about 7 years ago.

Digital - phew, I’ve got several thousand (legal) FLAC, AIFF, 320CBR, and
WAV releases of DnB, House, Techno, Breaks, Dubstep, and Underground/Golden Era Hip-Hop.

I bought ScratchLIVE in 2005, so I’ve had nearly 10 years to accumulate a pretty vast Digital Library.
I stopped buying vinyl in 2006, save for the random classic, or (couldn’t live without) vinyl exclusive release.

Digital - 3000 songs, just cleaned out a bunch from CDs that I’d never actually play.

Vinyl - 985, although again I have about 75 - 100 I’m looking to sell and still have to go through all my trance and hip hop records to find things to sell. Guessing I’ll wind up selling 200 - 300 total, maybe a bit more. (bought many of these in bulk from other DJs when starting my collection)

2000 mp3s for traktor and about 400 records. I’m working on digitizing my vinyl collection which has been slowing down. I don’t want to digitize anything I can rebuy from a legit source.

5,500 vinyl 12" singles - Disco to about 2007

800 vinyl albums of all types of music

450 .wav files, mostly progressive house

I feel you on that. Ripping vinyl is the biggest pain in the ass when you have several hundred to go through.
I remember when I started my first rips, I thought it was lots of fun…yeah, that wore off quickly.

~ 2 500 digital.

My collection is mostly 12 inches but I’ve been known to give a 7 inch performance on occasion.

I wish Traktor or one of these music library programs (mixed in key,Beatport pro, beatunes, etc) would have de-warp function that would straighten out wandering BPMs on warped records. You can do it in Ableton but it really adds ten steps to the whole process.
Instead, I usually end up throwing a billion beatgrid markers on it in Traktor.

Close to 10,000 pieces of vinyl.

21,685 songs on my first computer (21" iMac) I used for DJ’ing. I retired that computer earlier this year and bought a new Mac Book Pro.

8127 songs on my MBP. I imported a select number of songs from my old computer and I am just adding new music as I go along. I am a mobile DJ, so I need to have a large selection. I also backed up my old collection and carry it with me on an external hard drive in case I need to get a song. All of my music is legally purchased.

I am at interesting point right now to answer this question. I’ve had a bit of a break from mixing (sometimes those are good ) and just recently came back with a redefined focus on what I wanna play and how I approach my track purchasing (for one, it’s strictly purchasing in attempt to keep collection lean).

After buying the cream of the crop of the backlog and couple more shopping sprees afterwards for newly loved tracks I am sitting at 87 tracks.

My current goal is to focus on doing semi-regular podcasting (Mixcloud being the only platform for now), so I really wanna know my tracks in and out and I usually let my Beatport shopping cart sit idle for a while before I know for sure I am buying a track.

over 1000 vinly, maybe 1500. Not sure how many, never actually counted them. About the same amount of digital, maybe a few less.

Never counted my vinyl - but only a couple of hundred (mostly breakbeat and hip-hop).

Digital is about 70Gb (all .MP3) and is about 8,000 tracks.

That sounds ridiculous. (Eight THOUSAND tracks?). I need to trim that down… :rage:

I have about 800 records, 500 cds, and 60,000 tracks in Traktor, but I have music of every genre from the 50s to today and there has to be 1000+ duplicates

Around 5k vinyl (my preferred medium - was many more, but sold off around half), just under 7k (148Gb) digital tracks, some dupes, mix of wav (pref) and mp3.
