whats your setup using the s4?

God forbid something to your s4s. But I was wondering what would be a good back up to the s4? I do have tech 1200s but like those suggested on here those aren’t backups. When you gig with the s4 what other hardware compliments it? Maybe two x1s?

I love the s4. I even thought about selling my 1200s to get numark ttx usb turntables for home use. I think I would regret that.

For backup stuff you will need an external mixer

I have an A2 and an X1 and am about to get another X1. I can use one or both of those as backups.

X1, I need to get a 2ch external, I’ll waveride till then if something happens.

my backup is an x session pro w/ audio 2 dj. and my MF classic of course.

i use a MF classic alongside my S4.
I’m considering to map maschine for easy cue juggling and various superknobs.

I use a Midi Fighter classic and a Kaossilator Pro with my S4. It’s a fun setup.

Audio8 into the house mixer before i go on, then if the S4 pops it’s direct to TCV without too much of a problem (small time to switch soundcards in T2).

Smaller gigs, I take an Audio4
