Where can I Buy This Whole Set-up ?

Minus the Laptop , Mic. How much would the whole set-up cost and where can I buy one ? Program , Mixers , and Controller in the middle and the small box connecting everything together. Im new so I dont know what thats called. Can someone explain ?

That would be 2 turntables on each side connected to a mixer in the middle. all of this is then connected to ‘the box’ which is a soundcard providing the link between the setup and the laptop.

In the Rane Serato Scratch live setup you will get wires control vinyl (and CDs) and the soundcard. The mixer and turntables you will have to buy by themselves. This whole setup could easily become rather costly. And since you are new you should invest in a MIDI controller like the Vestax VCI-100 or if you want a more analog system you could start out with buying a soundcard and a Behringer DDM4000 mixer.

Search abit around the forum to find info on Digital systems (midi controllers) and analog systems.

or if youre broke you can get the numark total control and dj io soundcard (if you have a bigger budget then get something that costs more, like the vci 100)

does not include the mixer and turntables, only the control vinyl, souncard and software :wink:

if i remember technics 1200s are around $550 new
so your total without a mixer +headphones is around $1600

and for headphones i recommend denon hp1000 ($160)

you can find used technics for 700$ for the pair…I think dj.you.s.bee is selling some pdx turntables for a good price in the buy and sell forum. mixers can range from $100-1000+ depending on what you want, then, once you have purchased this, you can then buy the scratch live package..if I were you I would look into traktor scratch pro
