Where can I get effects?

Where can I find effects for my Traktor S4? I’m specifically looking for stuff like a spindown if its even called that. Where it kind of rewinds and stop the track, etc. Any info would be great.

upper left and right of the screen are the effects units; each effect is described in the manual. Pretty sure you can make the effect you’re looking for using the Reverse Grain effect, but it’s probably easier to just backspin using the jog wheels.

TTFX is what you’re after.

Backspinning the jogwheels won’t quite do it. I mean, I was at a party last night and was watching the DJ where he had this one effect that would spin the track and then stop it. For example, they had a dance competition and each time one person stopped he would play that effect and then start another song for the next person to start dancing.

You can’t add any third party FX to Traktor. What was that other DJ using? Different software programs come with different FX.

He’s looking for the turntable fx for sure.

Yeah I know. I just thought that the way he asked it he thought he could download extra effects and add them to Traktor.

Maybe the guy was just doing a spinback?

u can use VSTs in torq if thats what he is looking for…
