Where do music addicts get tunes

Just curious to see where music addicts are grabbing their tunes from these days? Anyone have any good online sites to find bumping new music to play to the crowds. ANY TYPE OF MUSIC. A good song is in fact a good song whether its house, hip hop, etc etc etc…

guys dont kill me for saying this… but if you use chrome developer tools you can grab any sound that exists on soundcloud. it just won’t be 320 kbps

route your computers audio through your S/C, into the audio through in traktor then you can record anything in the webisphere :slight_smile:

yeah but the quality is gonna be rather crappy, huh. Even at 320 it still not the same.

OR…is there another work around :smiley:

yeah it will be around the same quality as the original source. i do this when i want to rip samples off movies and they dont load into audition, usually because of AC3 or not avi files etc etc

Easy way to do this if anyone’s interested.
Boot up, plug your card in. Now (in my case on win 7 anyway) this becomes your default source, so you need to go into the sound settings in control panel and reselect your windows sound as the default.
Use a jack>rca cable run from your speaker/headphone out on the laptop and plug into an input channel on your soundcard (audio 4 in my case, input 1&2)
Boot up the mighty traktor and you need the soundcard set up as you usually do.
Check the input routings under preferences and set these to decks C & D.
Change the chosen deck to audio through, adjust levels accordingly.
Voila, you can record anything. (movies, youtube, your own farts, etc)

yes you need a card with an input channel to do this mate.
