Good question, I know that I haven’t been post on DJTT too much. Just wanted to check in and say im still here and I check the site & forums out everyday.
I finally took the full step in switching and did a fresh install on my MBP and so far it only have installed Serato SSL 2.2/2.3 & Itch 2.0 beta & Ableton Live 8. Do I still you traktor? Yes at home.
I’ve been exploring all the feat. of the Bridge and it amazing! I re-did my whole setup. Im down to a Rane TTM-57, 2x 1200 MK-2, custom dicers, SL-Video.
Any questions about being on the dark side hit me. Even if you call me Saturday morning @7am after a long night at a gig. LOL
Both mixers are great, I miss the freq filter on the DJM-700. But im in LOVE with the 57 faders and all in one package. I really wish I could map the pan on the mixer to use it as a filter.
Yeah the no filter is what swayed me away from the TTM. The smaller package, and full control of SSL along with mixtape function is pretty damn sweet though. I’ve been keeping my eye out for any crazy deals lurking on one.
Not yet, but I see this happening pretty soon. I did find a work around to get the filter. but Im not giving up my knobs for the crates & playlist search
