Where the heck is the forum or threads for the NI D2?

Just wondering, there is a forum for the S2/S4/S8/S5(which isn’t even out yet) and none for the D2??? Am I missing something?

I assume because the features of the D2 are mirrored on the s8?
I would love to see NI come out wiht a D1 (like the deck controls on the s5) with ability to be a standalone media player as well.

You’re in it: Hardware, Controllers, Mods and Gear. There’s no sense in creating a bunch of sub-forums for different controllers. DJTT created the S2/S4 sub with purpose, like the Midi Fighter and VCI pages.. The S5 and S8 are logical extensions of the original forum, the D2 not so much.

What do you need to know about it? I have a pair that are awesome paper weights (for the most part) right now as I’ve had to roll back my Mac that I play out with to OS X 10.8.5 and Traktor Scratch Pro 2.6.8 due to the audio dropout issue affecting Mavericks & Yosemite …

And the S5 is out, I’m testing one out on El Capitan (OS X 10.11.0) that I’ve installed onto an external Thunderbolt SSD with one of my D2’s and an XDJ-1000 as I have the night off :slight_smile:

Perhaps we should rename S2/S4/S8/S5 sub-forum in to “Native Instruments Controllers”…

Sounds like a good idea.

I just am finding it interesting that there aren’t really any threads on the D2. Not many people using them?

Weird, I’ve got mine running on Yosemite and not having any issues.

I’ve got one. It’s pretty decent, though I’ve been a bit time-poor lately due to dealing with a million and a half things at the moment.
