I think DJTT should start a Ten Minute Mix competition where digital DJs battle it out and get a sweet prize (new traktor pro overlay vs upgraded knobs set). I’d go with the new layout cuz I already bought the knobs set along with everything else DJTT sells. (loyal)
I agree, actually this post encapsulates my feelings, I would love to see some more B33son videos, and definitely if there are more tips let em be heard. The tehminmix DJTT comp should be started up too, can we get some mods to judge it and have it posted in the mixes section.
Yeah +1 for the comp aswell, think it’s a great idea to get people more involved and generate more user content rather than relying on Ean and the Mods all the time. And we can win stuff…always a good 'un.
Trust me, we’re ALL doing what we can to get as much useful content on this website as we possibly can. We’ve got an army of writers, reviewers, and geeks working tirelessly with no pay to try and get this site be a great and functioning community for EVERYONE not just VCI-100/Traktor users.
What I’d really love to get is some input on 4 deck mixing, aka, what parts of a track should go where, what can/shall be overlayed, looped, etc, what shall be not, common pitfalls, tricks… maybe some info from B33son how he arranges the tracks… any of that, even just parts would be just plain awesome
Can yall make an official call for fan-submitted-traktor/vci100/tricks&tips-videos/tutorials on the blog frontpage to jumpstart it?
I respect the mods and everyone working on this website for doing such a fantastic job. Let’s also get the hive mind involved and let users submit content as well!
