Where to buy Adidas HD 25’s?

Hi there,

Ok so let me tell you a story. In the past 12 months not 1, not 2 but 3 pairs of headphones have been stolen from me at gigs :confused: First my HD-280s, then my HD-25’s and last my Shure Scl2’s.

So not only does insurance not cover this, it’s putting a massive hole in my pocket!

So, I’ve decided I should get the Adidas HD-25’s! I’m pretty sure no one in New Zealand (where I’m from) has a pair, so if they ever get stolen, I will be able to find them in a short period of time :slight_smile:

I’m have trouble however finding a pair. There are a few on eBay but none of them will ship outside the US. There are some that will but they are charging $400 us which is stupid considering there only $200 on the official Adidas store.

So does anyone know where I can put them for a decent price that will ship to New Zealand?

It says they are “in stock” on the Adidas webpage. So I imagine you’d just be able to order them from the source.

I swear it was $199 the other day. Oh well when you get to the payment page it says it cannot ship it outside the States so meh.

Yea but thats five hundy. I’ve seen them on eBay for $199 shipped, sure I can shop around and get them for less then half price. I live in central Auckland so only a 5min drive away from me :slight_smile:

Last week I saw the price is 200euro. After hesitating a while, I go for HDJ-500 to save some money. Now it is 250euro…LOL

Whenever i’m looking to buy anything, first places i’d check would be Newegg.com or Amazon.com.

There’s a pair on the UK Ebay site for £199 at a buy it now price, it states £20 shipping within europe, but im sure if you ask they’d ship to NZ.

Worth a shot

Going to ask if I can have an HDJ-500 on review for 10 days, before I will make the decision to buy.

You should also ask for the 2000s, and lemme know what you think of them personally! :wink:

why not get a fully customized pair of HD25’s, or spray paint them yourself etc…

Update to everyone. Found some auction on eBay, got them for $199 shipped and got a mail forwarding company in Cali sending them to me :slight_smile: so all worked out well

Will not buy the 2000s… Pricetag is way beyond what I want to pay for a pair of cans.

When I was at electric city in Tokyo a few months back, got to try them out along with the djm 2000.

I can say both were meh, espcially the djm 2000, touch screen is rubbish, it’s a gimmick, belongs in a toy.

HDJ 2000’s were just straight up weird, the ones at the store were completely destroyed, you’d think a headphone of that price could take the bash.

What is the difference between the stock HD-25-1 IIs and the Adidas HD-25-1 IIs?

In the US, it’s a difference of over $80 USD. Am I paying for the color scheme and Adidas symbol??

There’s no technical difference, basically a limited edition adidas theme.

And get yourself a beat hook or just be more diligent with your stuff…

If I even leave the booth for a minute, I’m disconnecting and walking with them around my neck, and the cable in my pocket.
