Where to buy step encoders like those on the Kontrol X1?

I’m looking for a stepped encoder with a nice click like the Kontrol X1, and the push button feature, does anyone know what kind of encoder they use?

Usually a rotary encoder will have a data sheet that will give you all the options available for it. Here’s an example…

So on this part, the data sheet is here…

You can see that this encoder is available with or without a switch, and there are options for no detents or up to 30. Lots of other places sell encoders (Sparkfun is a friendly site for example).
