Which laptop should i use? Mac vs Pc

Im running traktor scratch pro 2, i never had problems on my PC but now my dad gave me his mac, which one should i use for djing and maybe just in general. I assume most of you are going to say the Macbook but the Pc does run flawlessy.

i use apple so i will say mac and people who use windows will say pc.

I just threw some chicken bones and they say you should just install on both machines to see which works best.

P.S.
The wing bone indicates you should stop d/l pr0n and peeping at your neighbor’s wife at night. Is this correct?

Either will be fine.

TommyQuiet has it right, this question gets asked about 3-4 times a week, so have a butchers through the other posts on here for a whole bunch of discussions …

I say Mac, because I use Mac myself.
But I must say that the specs of that PC are foolproof.

But you know, I’d still go with mac, it’s more stable :wink:

Incredible as it may sound, both the Mac or the ‘flawless’ PC will run Traktor fine, so either.

You already answered your own question.

I use Macs. That Mac is fine.
Unless someone can see something bad in the fine detail of that PC spec that i cant see then this thread is pointless and gets closed real quick before it turns pissy.

In this situation I’d use the mac for DJing. Why?

Because it leaves your PC laptop for you to do all your other crap with!

Play games, surf, get viruses, clog up, fragment, etc your PC laptop while keeping the mac nice and pristine :slight_smile:

Lol well I got the point after the first reply but hey maybe it was neccesary for people to mock it again and again ha.

Let me rephrase my question,
the mac runs a little smoother iin general and is more stable but should that outweigh the 500gb hd of the pc and the better graphics on the pc?

All I was looking for was something I was maybe missing because I don’t know computers that well, like maybe u thought id need this or that.

Why would you need a powerful graphics card for traktor? It’s an audio manipulation program.

No I mean just in general is it a deciding factor in like computer use cuz ima huck one of em, all im really wondering is there a dying reason why I shud keep the pc over the macbook?

If you prefer windows use a pc.

If you prefer OSX use a mac.

There’s nothing special about either system.

If I were you homie, I might keep the Mac just to do all my producing on. Or you could go the other way depending on what program you may be using.

Ok… use the Mac, it will require less “housekeeping” realistically. Especially if you’re not good with computers

Should just be plug, play and solid.
