and ps i’m not done with the jog wheels, they won’t look like ancient pennies for long.

thanks man! i’m still not quite sure what to do with the jogwheels, i was thinking of cutting up some old french dvd covers and setting them on the jog wheels with glossy paint. any other ideas?

you def don’t want to do that, because the metal part of the jogwheel is used to send midi notes…don’t forget that. the contact that’s made between your finger and the metal creates a new note.

ah right. i’ve been so caught up with the aesthetic aspects of the mod lately that sometimes i forget that this thing has a job to do. :slight_smile:

Is that a refinished case? or did you have one customed at a machinist? The white looks really smooth, I was wondering how you did it…

thanks man, it’s simple really, just $3.49 worth of white krylon :slight_smile: all the machinist did was cut out the holes for the buttons.
