who is getting less money?
I get paid $3 for an hour and a half set at my group home once a week. I am playing tonight actually. is there anyone who is getting less?
So basically you would call that volunteer work would you not? Reading is a good hobby.
When doing mobile it’s toughly 75-150 an hour depending

I would charge about $40 per hour. $3 is pretty good though. I would spin for a coffee and a apple fritter.
Depends where and what your spinning. I spin for free over here to help with a group im a part of. Perks I get are free liqour, dope shows too attend(big artists for free). and incredibly cheap rental prices on a pk sound system for when we throw our own parties. I spin whatever I wanna.
If your playing top 40 id reccomend asking for more or leaving.. thats just me tho.

Depends on the venue, type of set, qhich equipment is provided. On average without me needing to bring equipment about 100-150 per hour.
For bars, I ask for at least 20% of bar income for a 6 hour night, but I also do promo for the night and bring a crw of about 20 people to order drinks and food from the bar.
Its not great since the emergence of belly button fluff as a far more usable currency for DJ’s.

I really wouldn’t know. I’ve never been paid that low. I’d just do it for free rather than be insulted with $2.
