why are my dicers like this ????????

why are my dicers like this ???

are they mapped wrong ?
the 3rd mode is useless

wow! are they even mapped for Traktor?
or did you install a mapping thats for a differnt midi controller

What mapping are you using, and what version was it made for?

It may be that the mapping was written for an older version than the one you’re using…

Or, maybe you’ve got multiple Dicer mappings loaded?

I got it off a you tube video I cant remember But I might aswell keep this mapping as im used to it and still love them and is more aless the same or even better [quote=“Patch, post:3, topic:66552, username:Patch”]

they are mapped for traktor I got a different mapping though

I’ve had an idea for “modular” Dicer mappings…

Each script would cover JUST ONE page (+ maybe the shifted page) Red, Green or Amber, for the Dicers.

Then you could mix n’ match the modular mappings to your preference.

Now, the easiest way to do this, is to download a LOAD of Dicer mappings from this site, and then edit them and save them in Traktor. (delete the pages you don’t want, keep the ones you do).

That way, you could take the red page from one mapping, the green page from another, and the amber page from a third.

is there anyway I could use the 3rd mode as something like the fader effect or something ?

Yeah. You’d need to map it.

Or steal it from another mapping.

I dont how to map could I just add it to my 3rd and still have my current mapping if you know what im saying

You would have to delete all of the existing mappings for the 3rd page (amber), and then either re-map in your existing mapping, or, create a new mapping specifically for the amber page and import it into your mappings.

You’re not gonna get away with not learning mappings, mate. If you do, you’ll only be using your Dicers to a tiny bit of their potential.

Have you tried downloading some Dicer mappings from this site?
