just did a recording of 2 basic sized mp3’s.. only a total of about 7 minutes.. and the file is a whopping 78.6mb!! at this rate, if i do an hour mix i’ll be at over a gig! what should i do guys? i need the file to ultimately be small enough to be downloaded by friends, etc..

If it’s anything like ITCH which it probably is, it records the song as a .wav file which is not compressed.
What you can do is download audacity, open the file into audacity. Then go: file > export… > save as type: mp3 files > pick somewhere to save it and then press save.
Then upload it to soundcloud or whichever one you use
