Why aren’t my S2 and X1 Co-operating?

I cant get them to play nicely together. I’ve tried loading the S2 with the “Big Import” button, as well as the “Setup wizard” and I can get it working fine on its own, (except half the time the gains wont swap over to filters even if its highlighted in the settings) Any info on this would be great, but its the smaller issue.

The big problem is when i plug in the X1, either some functions on the S1 wont work, or it freezes completely, or the FX section of my S2 stops working.

I have loaded each of the mappings multiple times with no luck at all

Im using TSP 2.1.2.

why is it that i try things dozens of times and it just doesn’t work, then i post something about it here, and suddenly everything works???

So I have a new issue or issuex

Mid way through a set, my screen will sometimes freeze up for a few seconds, although audio will still play fine.

Also my X1 will become totally unresponsive for a few minutes at a time. It will come back to work again, but this cycle continues as i play.

Computer specs Macbook 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB ram, only use is for Traktor and Itunes
Latency set at 11.6/1.5/13.1
S2 and X1 using native mappings.

Anyone have any ideas they can share?

Switch off wifi & bluetooth, set power saving to on all the time, close all other apps.

Thats all I can think of mate
