Why can’t I find a place to rent a S4?
So I am patiently waiting for the S2 to go on sale to buy my first digital controller, and I had a thought of renting a S4 to get my fingers wet. To my surprise I can’t find a place to rent one.
Am I just overlooking something or is renting digital controllers (specifically the S4) just hard to come by,
native instruments controllers will be tricky considering the software is locked to your native instruments account.
serato scratch live and itch controllers might be rentable though since the software is freely available on their website.
Anyone with Traktor Pro 2 can hook an S4 up and it will auto-config.
I guess no-one is renting them cus there is no or little rental demand.
Plus if I would own a rental company I would not rent controllers, the wear-and-tear would make something like this very unprofitable, unless you charged $200/day or something like that.
