Why X-fader just works in DECK B? Help please…

My x-fader (main crossfader) is just working in Deck B. If I try to cut Deck A to Deck B using X-fader nothing happens. Otherwise, if I cut from Deck B works fine.

I just reinstalled Traktor, downloaded Vestax VCI 100/traktor 3.3.tks but the problem remains.

Help please!

My setup:

Mac Pro, Leopard, Traktor 3.3, VCI -100 HW Black (firmware 1.2) , Audio Kontrol 1 and Korg MicroKontrol

make sure ur loading the right tks files u can download the originla tks files in www.vestax.com

I’m pretty sure the tks is fine. But something is missing in my preferences. Maybe a wrong midi note.

What would be the exact midi note for the x-fader? Could you printscreen you Preferences?

Does the xfader show movement on the screen? Or is it just the sound cutting out? If it’s the sound read this thread. If not… It maybe your hardware.

It’s just the sound that is not being cut. I can see the x-fader going to Deck B but it doesn’t cut the sound.

Hopefully thats the problem. A very easy fix.

did you disable the A deck in the crossfader assignment?
