Sure will.
If you are mixing in the software you would simply connect the 1&2 outs on the card to one of the line ins on the mixer. If you are mixing externally you would also connect the 3&4 outs to the second line in.
Yes, that should work fine as far as the connections go but perhaps you should look at purchasing a different soundcard as the maya44’s are pretty bad quality.
My friend has had one for two years and it hasn’t failed yet. I just want this as a home setup. I’m planning on getting a good mixer with soundcard and numark v7’s later.
FYI…if you ever decide to go to Serato or Traktor Scratch that soundcard will not work. It can work w/ Traktor only if you’re not using timecode cd’s or records.
The NDX400 is not a midi controller so its not going to do anything with virtual DJ. You need a midi controller like the NDX800 or 900. In other words the NDX400 is just a player, it would plug directly to the mixer inputs and you would use cd’s or a flash drive, no soundcard needed. You need some type of controller to “control” VDJ. The NDX400 won’t do that.
I know that. That’s why im getting the maya44 soundcard to timecode and control Virtual DJ with my mixer and NDX400’s. This is just my starting equipment set.
I plan later to upgrade to Numark V7’s and a Behringer DDM4000 Mixer for my real setup.
