Windows 10 w/ Traktor
I did some brief internet searches, without much feed back. My rig died a week ago, and my wife said if I can wait a month or two I can do a new computer instead of replacing it. I’m running Win7 on everything and with Win10 out now I was thinking of moving on up, it appears ot have issues with Ableton, haven’t looked up Reason yet, but I figured I’d start here with Traktor.

What are the issues with Ableton? That’s a deal breaker for me…

With the way Windows 10 is going to handle updates I don’t think I’d be going with it. I’ll be keeping Windows 7 on my kids computers and Windows 8 on my Surface Pro 2 (this also has Traktor Pro 2 on it for Windows testing and backup) and gaming PC for as long as I can.
I will stay with win 7 for as long as possible, because of the best low system input lag/dpc latency.
Xp & 8.1 has 8-10us higher than win 7 on my multiboot system
I will get win 10 on external hdd just for testing to begin with 
Thats due to the drivers not being optomised for the OS, not the OS itself.
Issues just opening Ableton, people have had to jump through hoops to get it working, but that was on the preview versions.

Ableton has been working perfectly for me for months on Windows 10 preview on a Surface 2 Pro.
No hoops, no jumping, works exactly as 7 on my rig.
Ableton and Traktor have never working so good, both running together, 4 decks (1 Rmix deck) , clips and effect, 2 different soundcard (1 for each sofware), since I move to W10 (home) . No crashes from any software, no drop outs with soundcard, no problem with usb3 port ant his hub behind, latencies go 4/5 ms down than Win8. Everything works so good, that’s a pleasure Inever had on W8 and 8.1
Honestly, I’ll be upgrading to Win10 because I am going to add Augmented Reality support to Synner3 (plus, generally, I want AR).
running traktor on my laptop windows 10 , no problems. Maschine also ok, only ableton is having a problem with my soundcard(db4)
Absolutely no problem with ableton with NI Komplete 6, had some problems with an Akai pro EIE and a cymatic audio LP16.
May be problem come from soundcard?
Have been running Traktor Scratch Pro 2.10 in Windows 10 and it behaves much much better compared to the previous Win 7 installation, and I don’t have to turn as many things off to address latency. Only gripe I’m having is some issues with the USB drives occasionally crapping out, though it seems to be a laptop-specific issue. Apart from that, relatively happy chappy about the upgrade.
Zero issues here with traktor and 10
It is indeed the soundcard, maschine, traktor and windows run fine on the DB4, only ableton makes the soundcard crashing..
I also have a cheap soundcardm with works just fine with ableton …so now mailing with both ableton and Allen & heath to solve the problem, no luck sofar..if it remains i will just buy a extarnal soundcard to use with ableton…
I never have/had any problems with Win10 and Ableton and Traktor. Both run great with no glitches. Even back when Win10 was still in the preview forms I never had a problem. I had them running at once too with no problems. Mind you they weren’t synced or anything.
