Windows not on my Macbook used for traktor

I am considering buying the upgrade kit. I do not use my PC in my setup, I use a macbook. I do not have Windows on the macbook. Can I still do the upgrade with my PC and then use the VCI-100 with the macbook and traktor?

yes you can.. you write the firmware on the vci, so it doesn’t matter if you plug it into a pc or a mac..

make sure the PC has a serial connection, cause there were a lot of problems with serial-2-usb adapters..
