Watch the guy in the band on the lead Guitar. He has a device that looks like a BB on his guitar. Just jams that instead of stumming at times.

I believe this is where electronic performances will end up someday. With controllers and ableton we have “live producing”, so possibly if there is a group of well talented people, I could see success in bringing back the “performance” aspect of doing a show.
Of course I say this as someone who has little to no instrumental background.
