Sweet. Welcome to the world of happy computing.

Congrats!! I’m very happy for you but I’m still dreaming with mine… :disappointed:

mmmmmmmmmm… getting a new MBP is always a happy day!

Never had one so i so this better be mindblowing or else i will cry about the huge loss of cash…

Awesome!
mine arrived 4 days ago… Im super happy… everything works… all the PC issues I had are not happening anymore.
I still have to do my work on a pc, but will never buy a pc again for music related tasks.

my mbp is stuck in a ups van somewhere in the snow and have to wait a week for it.
show some love.

The big beauty of using a Mac isnt being blown away. Its, never being pissed off.
When something “just works” you dont actually notice it. You just get on with stuff.

Did u just copied the whole t pro folder and pasted it on your mac or was i more complicated?

I dont use traktor.. just ableton..
I think the biggest thing to get your head around is that 99% of PC software is based on a nasty registry file dump from installing. With ableton I just dragged the ableton folder into my applications folder and thats all..
Im not familiar with how TSP is dealing with the installation… but im sure everyone else here who uses it can give you a good tip on this.

Can’t add anythings else bro’!

/me is happy for you!

i did just that when i converted about 1 year ago. only had to assign the new folder locations and relocate. no C:/ on a mac :stuck_out_tongue:

Too much Mac love in this thread… UP THE PERSONAL COMPUTER WINDOWS STYLE4EVA <3

Grats ep. I’m holding out for the next MBP refresh to get one. Hopefully the wait will make it even sweeter.

Thats good news! Thank you

Wow… cool to have you amongst our ranks bro’!

@ earl, check the Knowledge Base at NI Support.
There is a good article on migrating from PC to Mac (or vice versa).
Login and search on “copy collection” i think its the top result.

Its pretty easy dude.

Welcome to the dark side!
