Working with 2 copies of Traktor Pro 2

I have been struggling to find some up to date information on Traktor Pro 2 libraries and wanted to know how easy it was to beat grid a song on a copy of Traktor on 1 pc and to then pick up those beatgrids on a 2nd copy of Traktor on a different pc.

Is there any tried and tested method for doing this?

Would storing the tracks on a portable hdd shared between the 2 pcs help the situation?

If you lock all of you beatgrids it should write everything to the file and that combines with sharing a music library on an external sounds like it would work.

Additionally it might be possible to share a collection.nml file but I have no experience with if that is feasible or would work.

Do you know if beatgridded files can be shared between traktor pro and traktor scratch pro?
