WTB: Maschine Activation Key
Hi guys,
I just purchased a Maschine from guitar center used. They assured me the software was not registered…However, this was incorrect of course. They said they will allow me to return for a full refund but i would rather keep it if i could find a new serial number/activation key.
So if anyone happens to have one they are looking to sell, let me know how much you are looking for and please provide proof that the key is unregistered. Thanks!

If you have the serial number and receipts, you can email NI to have them deactivate the key so you can reregister it.
Ya i think we all know how NI’s customer service is…Sent that email 2 weeks ago with no response yet. I have guitar center calling for me.. In the mean time im using my buddies NI account because i could not handle waiting any longer to use this thing.

WOAH… Just stop and think here before we go into a rant about NI Support.
Guitar Centre sold you a copy of software that is already in use. This is not legal. They are in breach of the EULA so before people start whining about NI they need to contact GC and ask them why they are being dicks.
Plus, NI cannot unregister the software licence without the consent of the legal owner. Otherwise people could get hold of someones serial (like maybe they have burgled someones house) and have the software transfered into their name.
NI cannot by law transfer a software licene without consent.
Sharing your serial number is in breach of your agreement.
