unless you want a multitude of problems…STAY AWAY from this product. If it ever breaks NO ONE will work on it b/c it is a bitch to repair

yeah dude this product looks cool but was a total bust! they are on ebay and craigslist for cheap, they sound like crap and scratch even worse.

I have some 1200 already… I wanna get them to use with traktor with sd card.
I know they have bad reviews… My self when they came out I got the dns5000 instead… Well I wanna give them a try

The firmware upgrad fixed some scratching problems. But overall its probably the worst product theyve ever made. Owned two, sold them 2 months after owning them.

I wouldnt recommend even “trying” them out. Because then you are going to have one heck of a go getting rid of them

My pair works great with timecode. Not for sale though.

They seem to work well on sd time code

for DVS i’m sure they are fine…I was actually going to buy a pair until my friend and very trusted 1200 technician said STAY AWAY… they are great until you have to fix them. Parts are scarce and service has to be done by an expert

What you think would be a good price for a fair to excellent working condition sl-dz1200?

I’ve seen a couple recently ~300 each I think.

I dread the day something goes wrong.

to be honest…I’ve never had gear go bad on me BUT I also have never played out with my own gear in a smoking venue or had it vibrate to death in a club

Do you guys think 700$ is too high for a pair? There is some on ebay right now… But when I look at completed listing I saw some going for much cheaper…
If someone as a pair I willing to pay 500-550$ for it on the spot
