X1 & MF Twister FX mapping question

I’ve just added a Midifighter Twister to my current setup (xone db2 & 2 Kontrol X1 Mk2s). Loving the step sequencer but I’m having trouble setting the alternate midi mapping up.

What I really want is to be able to switch between the sequencer and the Instant Gratification Effects BUT I would like the combo effects to load and activate when I push the encoder but when deactivated I would like my FX slots to revert back to my defaults (that will be controlled on the X1s).

Any tips on how to achieve this?

Maybe if you explain this in some more detail?
Which effects do you usually have set for your X1?

I usually use the following:
FX 1 - chained - beatmasher, filter, iceverb
FX 2 - single - delay t3
FX 3 - single - gater or reverb t3
FX 4 - single - tape delay

So ideally as soon as I release the bottom right ‘fx reset’ encoder on the MF Twister I would like these to load and be usable straight away on the X1s

Sounds good except for FX3. We can select only one effect at a time so it’s going to be ether Gater or Reverb T3.
