XDJ-RX or XDJ-1000

Need some input here… I am up in the air on getting the RX or 2x1000’s. I am wondering if anyone has any hands on with either products yet. I like the idea of being able to use my own mixer of choice but the all in one aspect is very nice also… I would really enjoy ditching serato/traktor/laptop all together so it makes either option very easy to go with. Also do use iTunes To manage my library and have iTunes Match so my entire collection is shared on my iOS devices which makes it very handy to not even require a usb stick…

I just don’t know I was so close to buying previous xdj all in one systems but the forums were full of bugs and complaints… This left me wondering if I really wanted an all in one because at least with a laptop I know how to work around bugs and glitches with software myself.

So I’m thinking I’ll likely wait till both products have been out a bit before making a decision. I have found reading forums for products to be somewhat one sided as sometimes the poster let’s disappointment get in the way of usability…

I would wait for the XDJ-RX to be on the market for a couple of weeks to make sure you don’t buy a product full of faults. I have used an XDJ system for 2 weeks, and it costed me a gig as it kept crashing during the night. Not once, not twice, but at least twice an hour. I’m dying to get the RX, but I first wanna see how it works out. I have no problems with my SX, but I too want to stop bringing my laptop with me.

However, I want the RX over the 1000’s because I do a couple of mobile gigs every month. All other places have CDJ’s. Having XDJ-1000’s and a mixer doesn’t justify the cause and it’s not a mobile system for me.

Thanks for input that’s kind of what I was wondering I don’t know how much faith I have in all in one systems… XDJ-1000 system almost is impractical for what I’d use it for and it looks like the RX has an advantage to it IF it’s stable

XDJ1000 looks pretty sweet. Someone here has a pair.

I’d get one just because I already have a CDJ/DJM setup.

I’ve had my XDJs sitting in an unopened box for a week. Trying to get rid of my 850s before I open them up, just in case. :rage:

Yeah I’m leaning towards the xdj1000 but if the feedback from the stability side of the rx is good I’d go that route I like
The idea of being all in one… Mind you once anythings in a flight case it’s essentially the same but price point is a easiest selling point for me as I have to justify the purchase lol
