xone 2d & traktor X1

i’ve been on traktor with an audio 4 dj and x1 for the last year or so. have vinyl control but never use it when i dj out. (only at home). when i play out i’m plugging two line outs from the audio 4 into an external mixer and controlling with the X1.

i play a lot of music that drifts so a jog wheel and a slider assigned to pitch control would be really nice.
i am thinking of picking up a xone 2d. can i use the x1 and the xone 2d at the same time?

i have done a couple of google searches and haven’t heard of anyone using both.
is this possible or are they basically redundant functionally?

i don’t love the audio 4 and i would prefer to go to the all in one of the xone. but i love my X1 too.

anyone out there a few steps ahead of me on this one?

You can use both at the same time. But 2D is a bit old and boxy. Give a look at Reloop Contour Inferance Edition (approx 150€)

the reloop contour interface edition would mean that his need for an x1 is redundant and although the 2d is old and rather large it has the bonus of the xfader and eq eliminating the need for the mixer when space saving is even more required and also doesnt make the x1 obsolite.

thats just my view and ive got a contour and love it sometime in the future i plan on replacing my vci100 with a mixer and control edition of the contour.
