Xone DB4 fx Chaining through the input matrix?
While using a USB connection is there a way to chain the fx on a DB4 by running channel 1 with fx into channel 2 through the input matrix? every time I try it just plays the unaffected track 1 without track 1’s fx.
Can anyone help here please? Thank you so much!
only way i can think of is using the rec out of one channel to feed another channel to aply another effect.
Internaly there is no chaining possible (yet) maybe in a new update as its been asked for by the users…
I was thinking about this the other day. You would have to route the channel post fader back into the laptop and out again on another channel. If it doesn’t work you might have to make the FX pre fader so they return before the signal is send back into the laptop.
I was thinking a firmware update could allow you to turn off either the analogue/digital/usb inputs and replace them with the post fader, post FX signal from each channel. This would also allow recording the fx with the looper.
Lets hope they will continu with the updates, recently a massive pricedrop of the db4 with serveral stores (-500 Euro) so i hope this is not because of a new xone member is making its way into the world (playdifrently) PLAYdifferently
