**You “guyses” Traktor Pro Mix Raw and uncut** Right so I am about to move from Stockholm to Marseille, Paris and after that San Francisco, due to this I have sold absolutely everything I own besides my macbook. Of course the abstinens is starting to get to me really bad right now, and I though I might put up a very non pretentious mix contest, well not contest ,maybe just a display of your skills, of course this would be a “scouts honor” kinda’ thing since we can’t know if we used mixers controllers or not. It’s just for the fun of it. So post your 10 minute mixes here and let’s see just how BAD or even GOOD you can use Traktor pro using only mouse clicks and such, and hopefully you guys can create something other than just basic “crossfader mixes”. Mine is crap all the way, and I’ll post it today. Even if I only get one of you to post a mix response to this you’ve made my day, since I am So dang bored without my gear, and of course it’s nice to see what kind of tracks you guys choose for a 10 minute mix. I just can’t wait to get to DJTT in San Fran and go on a shopping frenzy! ---

Isn’t that cheating, who sets these rules anyway? I think it’s great if you make one, just don’t use anything besides the laptop, I guess you mean the keyboard of the mac/pc? Not synthesizer keyboard? My mix has gone from train wreck to car crash so I hope to post it within this evening, CET. ---

Ultimately i am jealous i really wanna go over the DJTT office to buy some gear avoid import tax and have a holiday 2 birds one stone an all that. anyway i did a mix with the keyboard and track pad on my macbook, not great but fun tunes it was like going back to where i started out. Btw Herb, I’ve had the worst hangover of my life when I was around 14 years old in your city, Newcastle. Went lost almost missed my ferry home and threw up on a pigeon at Eldon square, I’ll never forget that. Nice town though ( I think) ---

I only really used the Hotcue buttons on the keyboard so the track pad and the number one and two keys Newcastle tends to do that to people. Barfing on animals n’ that, a GF of mine threw up on her dog once too. Sick but True, Thanks for that tracklist, tried to find that tack to buy somewhere, that’s nearly impossible I would think. I started off with the numark omni control, a bit fed up with the USB thing since it feels a bit mickey mouse, but a bit torn about that since it’s so easy. Yeah and I would never use anything thats not 320 or wav if it’s not like you say a loop for scratching (which by the way I don’t) but for small samples it could work. Well, I did like this, I sold everything I own, but a few jeans and my macbook on the swedish wquivalent of ebay, nice feeling not owning a lotta shit, I will first go to Marseille to work there for 3 weeks, and after that of to Paris a few moths until the winter sets in and after that head for San Fran to buy an arcade edition an after that upgrade to the new TS4. If I could I’d help you send it from San Fran, but really you wouldn’t make a cent since the shipping cost a bit. ---
