I’ve had the same 30GB ipod for over 3 years and had no probs. battery still lasts 6 hours or so with some decent phones its good.
ipod touch! just downloaded touchosc today! its so friggin’ awesome. i’ll post pics soon.
i want one!
Why not go an iPhone?
Only thing it doesn’t have is the Kitchen Sink and a 500W Microwave!
I got one of the first black 30gb ipod videos about 3-4 years ago aswell! It still works as good as day one!
I still have a 80 zune. HATE IT! Though its not because of the device, its because they force me to use THEIR software to organize my music (which has already been organized by me properly)
The best mp3 player i had was this Korean made one a few years back, simple as opening it in my computer, plopping folder in and that was it!
i want a review from someone with a creative zen, im tempted to get one.
My phone and a 16GB microSD
No competition.
Sony MZ-RH1.

I had the loan of a Cowon 4gb touch screen a whiles back, bloody amazing sound quality. Blew my ipod away basically.
I bought a 40 gig IRIVER some 5 years ago, it was the first to come out that You could store and view photos. I didint even require a computer for photo transfer just directly connect the camera to the Iriver. It to was just a matter of dumping files in it, in whatever way you saw fit. I dropped it a bunch of times and it still worked, that was one tough MP3, Just a year ago i bought an ipod touch, so i gave the iriver to a friend, still going…
BTW, a few of my friends have zen creatives and swear by them!
Traktor Pro. jk, but seriously
I do like to borrow my girlfriends ipod shuffle for the bike rides
Re: Your MP3 Player?
I have black 30gb iPod, that I have all my videos that I used when I Dj & the the place has a projector to tap into. Sound quality is really good
I got a iPod touch, I love it, sound quality is ok. Gave it to the wife
I had a iPod (color) and hacked it to run Linux. It survived getting dropped in water. But the battery died and I have it just as a backup storage device.
I finally gave in and the the iPhone, the sound quality is good, but the best. It beats carrying a cell, mp3 player & digital camera to take quick pics.
I have a 160gb Ipod and my newish Iphone, use the Iphone and store what music I can on that it also acts as my car stereo rarely listen to CD’s or the Radio in the car, haven’t done for years now, and ease of use as all my music is stored on Itunes as it’s perfect with Traktor.
Had an iPhone 3G 16Gb for a year and a half, absolutely love it, although wouldn’t mind a new 32Gb…
I had no idea what that was so I looked it up… a minidisc player? Specs on minidisc.org look v impressive but doncha find it somewhat inconvenient nowadays?
I have a 160gb black iPod Classic, but I rarely use it anymore after I bought the HTC Hero and a 16gb MicroSD. The soundquality actually sounds better on my phone than my iPod.. but iPods were never known for their soundquality so I’m not surprised.
I-river is company who delivers amazing build and sound quality. It was my first MP3 player and still works to this day, sadly its just one Gig - but thats coz back then you couldnt get more XD
I’ll stick my iPod touch 8gb…that does the job 4 me =)
Iphone 3gs 32Gb
I use a 120gig ipod which is full to capacity with music. I’ve been debating on getting the 240gig when I get some extra money. I am not a huge fan of iTunes but it gets the job done relatively well.
I have one, actually, I have two. My only beef was with their customer service. I bought a 60gig Zen a while ago, love it. Preferred the scrolling strip to the iTunes wheel, liked the interface better, and I really did like their music management system.
I left it in my car on a really hot summer day and the thing just fried completely. When I tried to get it replaced they said that they could only send me two 30gig Zens, and wouldn’t exchange it for something of equal value. So I have two 30gig Zens, which is nowhere near what I need to manage my music.
Though, the software they use is really handy and easy to navigate, and I liked it a LOT more than iTunes. But yeah, if you want one, I have it, with a bunch of trimmings (radio transmitter, international plugs, extra plug, etc.). I am selling them both ![]()
